Language and culture.....

Assalamualaikum,

We communicate everyday. The normal way to communicate is using language. As everyone coming from different races, we have our own way to communicate in the way of manipulating the language. Normally, Malay using "Bahasa Melayu", but in different region like in Terengganu or other states, dialect is the main choice to do it. Thus,  other races such as Chinese using Mandarin or Hokkien or others to communicate. 

Well, sociolinguistics telling us that language is mostly influenced by the culture. I do agree with this as we can see in every aspect of our language, culture controls it all. How about you all? What is your opinion?
