Timid?

Someone said that I'm a timid kind of person. Without hesitating, Mr Goggle helps me to find the real meaning of "timid". According to http://www.thefreedictionary.com, timid can be define as lacking self-confidence; shy then fearful and hesitant. 
That was a story a few days back. Still, I keep thinking about it. I have to do something. I have to be my own self but not the  "timid" self. I want to show to that someone, I'm an aggressive writer but somehow, I feel like it is so hypocrite of me. Ya Allah, please show me something....
