Screaming in the middle of the night.....

Assalamualaikum,

A few minutes ago I heard someone screaming. It comes from the block next to our block. My roommate looked at me as if she was thinking what I'm thinking. Hm, I don't want to conclude anything and just recite Qursi verses. 

The light still clear in that time. As I'm writing this, coldness invaded me. I'm not so sure whether to write it here but I know that Allah knows the truth. I don't care about the screaming but why is it so eerie? I smile and don't want to think about anything negative. Once again, the night is so beautiful......
